The Highlight of 2011 Will Be..."Toylets"

Sega --  the maker of previous great things like Genesis, Dreamcast and GameGear -- have somehow one-upped themselves by developing "Toylets", which is essentially a video game for urinals.

I absolutely cannot wait for this to become a reality -- it looks amazing.

Apparently the game system incorporates a sensor into the back of the urinal which can sense the strength and location of the urine stream. The sensor then relays the information to the LCD screen, which allows the user to participate in a number of different games. Some of them are even borderline multiplayer. The games offered range from a graffiti cleaning game to a sumo-style game measuring your strength against the previous user. Surprisingly, they did not mention incorporating a version of the classic game "sword fight."

I'm not sure whether or not these will be pay-to-play or free and supported by advertising (likely) but, either way, consider me sold.

Great name. Great concept. Hopefully we will be seeing it in the U.S. before the end of the year. And, if they make consumer versions, I know what is going on my 2011 Christmas list.
