Check Out These New Cigarette Warning Labels. Thanks FDA!

Due to the passing of the Tobacco Control Act last year, the FDA for the first time has the ability to regulate tobacco products. They cannot ban them all together, but they can put warning labels on them like the proposed ones pictured to the left.

These are pretty graphic and I think they get their point across, but I'm not certain they will actually help that much. Granted, they definitely won't encourage kids and others to smoke, but you would have to have been living under a rock for the last decade to not know that smoking is bad and has negative health effects. I can't wait to see what warning labels they decide to put on chewing tobacco.
